Shortly after moving in, she discovers a dark secret her great-grandmother was murdered in that house and the killer was never caught. Haunting Adeline is the story of Addie, an author who lives alone in the haunted manor that she inherited from her grandmother. I’m a fan of dark romances and I’ve read a lot of them (ranging from tame to pretty extreme) and this one definitely falls on the pretty extreme end of the spectrum. my thoughts:īefore even thinking about reading this one, be sure to check trigger warnings. The way she undresses.I'll keep watching and waiting. I'm mesmerized by her smile, by her eyes, and the way she moves. Especially not when I plead for him to leave. It’s not surprising to see people pick up the book again. Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret by Judy Blume is a great coming of age story, and the movie adaptation is out in theaters to watch now. In fifth place, it’s all about a book that is the inspiration for a current movie. We’re sure to see the book drop off the list again suddenly and then reenter around November when the movie comes out. This wasn’t surprising at all when you consider the trailer for the movie is out. In fourth place, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins reentered the list. The Hunger Games, Judy Blume books, and more The full list was packed with new additions all the way to the bottom. There were two unsurprising reentries high on the list, one of them a book from decades ago. It wasn’t the only change in the Top 5, either.

It was knocked down two places last week, with Happy Place by Emily Henry taking over the top spot as it entered the list. The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave didn’t hold onto the top spot for too long. There were some unsurprising reentries on the list of most sold Amazon books last week.
